September Theme – Honoring Our Favorite American Rocker
This month we honor an American musician and actor, known for his creative fashion and music. His music encompasses elements of blues, rock, soul, R&B, funk, jazz, psychedelic, pop and folk. Fame runs in his blood, as his mother was also an actress, most notably, on the show The Jeffersons. Our honoree’s most famous acting role was in the movie The Hunger Games, in which he played the character Cinna… This month, our Classic Box includes earth tones, often worn by our honoree. Keep reading to find out who this month’s honoree is!

Windsor Tie Co. Tie – $29
Windsor ties are committed to giving you the best accessories to complete your look. Whether you’re walking down the aisle or climbing the career ladder, you’re sure to find something to impress.

This color combination is so good. This is the perfect tie to make a great first impression.

Sock Fancy Socks – $12
Sock Fancy launched in 2013 as a simple solution to a growing frustration. Finding the perfect pair of comfortable, durable, and awesomely-designed socks was often too difficult, too expensive, and too inconvenient.

These socks were meant to be seen! You can’t go wrong with block patterned socks, and the blue and orange pairing is very nice. These would pair very nicely with this month’s tie.

Honorable Beast Scarf – $35
Honorable Beast began in 2017 with an idea that Men’s style could be classy yet uncontrolled. Their brand motive is “All gentlemen have a wild beast within them.”

Scarves are great Fall essentials. As the temperatures start to cool down a bit, you’ll need something to keep you warm and stylish at the same time.

Honorable Beast Bracelet – $20
Honorable Beast’s brand is focused on exclusive design, and high quality, all at a reasonable price. They are proud of the products carried in their store, and they want their customers to be proud while wearing them.

Wooden bracelets are always a great option for men to accessorize with. They are a bit more casual than the average dressy watch. The basic color is great to pair with a number of outfits.

Gent Life. Business Card Holder – $15
Once upon a time, quality mattered most. Inspired by ancestry (America’s Greatest Generation) who understood commitment and valor, their intent is to provide a portal to these ideals in hopes of inspiring men to be better.

This is such an innovative idea. Keep your business cards looking nice and fresh in this handy card holder. Great quality!

Gentleman’s Box Review September 2019 – Final Thoughts

This month’s American Rocker honoree is… Lenny Kravitz! Did you guess correctly?

I think this month’s box is perfect for the modern man. It includes items that are practical for men, and the value is incredible. This month’s box is valued at $111, which is a steal! Not only does this box come with some amazing items, it also includes styling ideas for each applicable item. You’re not left wondering how to style each item, they’ve got you covered.

Here’s a closer look at the September Brown Bag PostBox…

September Theme – Brown Bag

I curated this month’s collection as an ode to the “packed” lunch. My memories of a perfectly packed lunch is a PB&J sandwich paired with a cold glass of milk, a side of chips, ending with a juicy sweet apple. The piece de resistance was a “napkin note” of encouragement from my mom. I hope that you have fun packing mailboxes this month with snail mail notes for your friends and loved ones.

PB&J Sandwich Booklet
Who wouldn’t love receiving a newsy note on these clever paper booklets shaped like triangular PB&J sandwiches? We included a square kraft envelope to complete the brown bag theme.

Missing You
What a fun card to tell a faraway friend or loved one you have been thinking of them! Take a moment and share a favorite memory or tell them about what you have been doing that made you think of them.

You Are All That
Everyone loves a note of encouragement. Let someone know how truly special they are with this card.

Apple of My Eye
Why not surprise someone special unexpectedly? Tell them how much you respect them, look up to them or just how spectacular they truly are with this card.

Mr. ZIP Lunch Box
A Postmark’d Studio exclusive postcard. This Mr. ZIP lunch box is sure to bring a smile to any mailbox!

Lunch Box Notes
A set of 12 “scratch-off” lunch box notes to share a special message. These will be a fantastic surprise in a lunch box but are also great to add a little extra in your snail mail.

I remember how fun it was looking for handwritten notes from my mom when she packed my school lunch. What a fun idea!

Vintage Postage
Vintage stamps to send four letters. We even included enough extra postage for one of the square envelopes. *Square envelopes in the US require 70 cents of postage.

These vintage stamps are so cool to me! I love seeing all of the unique designs.

Bonus Card
Celebrate “Thinking of you Week” September 23-27 with this “Thinking of You” card.

Postmark’d Studio Review September 2019 – Final Thoughts

This box truly takes me back to the days of packed school lunches and special notes from my mom. I’m such a foodie, so I definitely appreciated this lunch-themed box of stationary items. I love all of the food puns and snack references! It’s just so much fun. This is the first box that I have received from Postmark’d Studio, and I’m already looking forward to next month’s box. This has quickly become one of my favorite subscription boxes! I always love a good handwritten note, and I cannot wait to write letters to my family soon!
